Meditation timer

A quiet timer with gentle bells and soft background sound.

How long?

10:00

Ready when you are

10 minutes · bell at the start and end

How to do it

  1. Pick how long you would like to sit. Ten minutes is a good place to start.
  2. Choose interval bells if you like a gentle reminder partway through.
  3. Add rain, ocean or brown noise to soften background sounds.
  4. Press Start, settle in, and let the bell tell you when you are done.

Why it can help

Sometimes you don’t want guidance, just a quiet container for sitting, praying, journaling or resting. A timer lets you stop clock-watching. The bells mark the beginning and end, so you can let go of the time in between.

  • Unguided sitting is often easier after a minute or two of slow breathing.
  • Keep this page open and the screen awake while the timer runs.
